The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is often compared to America's Thanksgiving tradition, this time honored Asian holiday marks the end of the summer harvest. The festival is celebrated with family and friends and centers around traditional Asian food and drink.  The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival incorporates a wide range of entertainment and programs that include storytelling, authentic Asian Ceremonial fashion shows, ribbon and dragon dancing, martial arts demonstrations, musical and dance recitals.
In addition, children can take part in free activities designed to teach them about the Chinese culture. These activities include Chinese paper lantern making, Chinese calligraphy, children's lantern parade and children's costume parade and up close appearances of the Moon Goddess.
